Day Three

There are some days that hit you like a Fed Ex truck on Christmas Eve, and you're tested for all you're worth. Not only you, but the people in your life as well. I truly feel that these are the days where we find out who we really are, and who really loves us.

Side note: I got a new battery for my car today. It may start now. Also, correction from my last blog. . . RCIS is actually RCIA. Yeah. . . I have a lot to learn. :-)

I sat back today, and thought about the most important people in my life. My parents, who have done more for me than I could ever repay them for. My daughters, who make me laugh, even when I don't want to. The co-worker, who always asks if they can help. The friend who even in your darkest hour, tells you over and over again that everything will be fine.

I always say I don't live in regret, because what's the point? It's nothing you can change, so why dwell? Just "keep moving forward" (thank you Walt Disney) and either fix it, or live with it. Whatever "it" is. Then sometimes you're hit with an "it" that is a little bit harder to not dwell on. I'm trying. For everyone involved with my "it," i'm sorry. I'll shake it off, I promise. I'll move on.

My 3 year old daughter just layed her head down on my shoulder and said, "you're such a good mommy, and I love you very much." Suddenly my "it" doesn't exist. Children have magical powers. . . i'm convinced.

Relationships are often tested when "it's" occur. People lose their cool, or say "crazy" things. But it's simply out of fear. To know that you have someone in your life who care's about you enough to accept certain "it's," is a great feeling. It's important to let them know that often.

For all of you out there with an "it" floating around in your brain, shake "it" off. Move on. There are worse things in life. Take it all in, learn from it, then keep moving forward. Life is meant to be enjoyed, time is meant to be spent, and people are meant to be loved.

Till then. . .
